Very Good

Property was very nice, pool area was great. Rooms a bit dated but very clean. Air conditioner in our room was very loud and did not cool very well. Management was contacted, but noise remained very loud throughout the stay. The weather was not very hot during our stay so the few times we had to put on the air conditioner, the noise could be tolerated.

Week at axel beach was nice

The property was clean and tidy, although it was pitch black on arrival as the curtains were drawn, it took some fumbling in the dark to find the power activator hiding behind the door. Staff and complex facilities were excellent Minor gripes The fridge was overflowing with mini bar stuff that got in the way. If they want a mini bar in the rooms there is plenty of space to add a separate mini bar fridge. Irons in the room would also have been useful Beds are extremely firm

Great value for the price! Great location, rooms and staff!

Nice pool area, spacious rooms with a good and big bed. Great view from the balcony facing poolside! Good breakfast! Very nice and friendly staff! Especially Carmen at the reception and Rayco at the breakfast always had a smile for us and were super helpful!! :)

The area of the jacuzzi was apparently cleaned with special cleaning liquid. A strong and sharp smell did not make it that relaxing to stay in the jacuzzi.

Comfortable gay hotel close to the Yumbo Center

The reception guys (Kevin & Carmen) were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The Pool is very nice but guests seem to reserve the loungers and not really come back for them. Breakfast was ok, nothing to fancy but good enough.

We had a lovely stay! Can’t wait to return!

The staff! They were all very friendly and helpful! Loved the pool, gym, sauna & steamroom and the events!! Shoutout to DJ Lucky and the Bear carnival!

The shower drainage. Having to wear a shirt to the outdoor poolside brunch ????

Expensive venue, old tired and did not live up to how is sells itself.

Location was good! Staff were very helpful and friendly, it has a good gym, laundry facilities, nice shower, big pool and is gay friendly.

For the money Axel are charging the facilities are very tired. Bed mattress was hard as a rock, as a rule I love a firm mattress due to bad back but ours was to hard that its made my back worse. The air-con wasn't efficient! The sun beds were not comfy, the price of 2 soft drinks 8 euro for less than a can felt like a rip off. Everything was over priced. Cleaners knock on the door early 9am (although we can put a sign on the door) etc Coffee machine Leeks everywhere, no kettle in the room and limited kitchen tools. Sofa in the lounge area not comfy at all. All in all fairly disappointed. Would not rush back, we stay in Gran Canaria several times a year and this was our first stay here, as heard many mixed reviews about it. They have a resident DJ who plays by the pool. its very very loud.

Perfect Playa del Ingles resort.

I love the decent sized pool here. You can lap swim in it. There are always plenty of sunbeds surrounding it too for maximum sun. Breakfast and bar service were great. Special thanks to kitchen and restaurant guys Carmelo and Rayco, so friendly and efficient. Location was perfect, 5 mins walk from the Yumbo. Ktchen was adequate if you wish to self cater.

This trip was great, I will stay here again!

The property was in a great location and the room was comfortable for short and long vacations. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The cleaning staff were very efficient. Dayanna was so kind to me and I hope she is there next time I visit!

The light in the bathroom malfunctioned slightly but not a major issue. The noise level was high sometimes but I think Axel Beach has an amazing party atmosphere - so if you don’t like music don’t stay here.

Excellent vibe and Friendly Staff

The hotel has a great vibe, and is kept clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and look after the facilities well. The gym is well equipped and pool nice too. Breakfast was always lovely and the reception staff helpful and friendly.

Room is a little dated, and the pirce is a little high for that.

The staff was really friendly and let us stay longer in our room because my friend was a bit sick, so huge thanks to Carmen and Aythami in the front desk.

Fantastic vacation getaway.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The property is well maintained and spotless. Checking in and out was easy. Breakfast was great and well replenished with a good variety of hot and cold foods.

The beds are a bit springy, it’s okay for a week stay but not much longer. For those gay couples looking for a get away, this place is leaning a bit too mixed for what you might be looking for, though all were welcoming and friendly.
